Hi, I’m Caroline, a Cape Cod artist creating vibrant coastal-inspired mixed media collages and linocut prints.

My collages incorporate hand-printed gelli plate papers, while my linocut prints feature bold imagery created through traditional techniques inspired by ocean life and joyful moments by the sea.

My Story

IMG_1562.jpg

Inspired by the coastal beauty of Cape Cod, I create vibrant mixed media artwork that celebrates texture, color, and the natural world. My work spans abstract coastal collage, hand-pulled prints, sculptural florals, and oyster shell wreaths, all inspired by the organic movement and textures found along the shore.

I’m especially known for my signature 3D piped acrylic hydrangea pieces and commissioned “Forever Bouquets,” which transform meaningful wedding flowers into lasting works of art. Collage is central to my process, often incorporating antique music paper, handmade prints, and layered resin details to create depth and luminosity.

I hold a master’s degree in oboe performance from New England Conservatory and serve as Music Director and Arts Department Chair at Falmouth Academy. Music continues to influence my visual work through rhythm, harmony, and movement.

I share my work through Artbybuccino.com, local art fairs, and group art classes throughout Cape Cod.

"Having a piece of Caroline’s art in your home is like bringing the beauty of nature inside. You can see and feel the passion, love and thoughtfulness behind every piece. She’s incredibly easy to communicate with, talented, and accommodating! I can’t recommend her work enough!"

Marybeth Nichols, MA

"Caroline’s artwork is an exhilarating fusion of sight and sound. Her talent as an artist and musician is evident in her artwork. The vibrant colors and textures she uses radiate energy across the canvas and are linked to the imagined sounds of a melody. Caroline’s artwork is a triumph of both imagination and skill, offering the viewer a visual symphony."

Juliana Starkey, AZ

"Caroline Buccino beautifully blends textures and vintage sheet music in her art, creating nostalgic and dynamic Cape Cod seashore scenes. The aged sheet music and gold specks add an emotional depth, contrasting with the vibrant waves and skies. The artwork's tactile quality invites closer inspection, with layers of paper and paint giving it depth and movement. Her recent exploration into resin art enhances the ocean's fluidity and waves. I fell in love with her art and commissioned a custom piece for a dear friend of mine. The result was nothing short of breathtaking. Beautiful, stunning artwork!"

Heather Raye, MA

"Mrs. Caroline Buccino is a remarkable artist whose ocean landscapes capture the depth, movement, and emotion of the sea with breathtaking beauty. A dedicated music teacher by day and a passionate painter by night, she pours her heart into every brushstroke, creating works that evoke both serenity and power. Her keen eye for color and texture brings waves to life, making viewers feel as if they can hear the crash of the surf and taste the salty air. With  a natural gift for both music and visual art, Caroline seamlessly blends rhythm and harmony into her paintings, offering a deeply moving and immersive experience. Her work is not just seen, it is felt."
