Artist Caroline Buccino

Caroline Buccino is an interdisciplinary artist whose work lives at the intersection of music and visual art. A Cape Cod native, she draws inspiration from the ever-changing land and sea, creating vibrant, whimsical pieces that capture the textures and rhythms of nature. Always experimenting and evolving, her work invites viewers to explore, imagine, and discover something new with every glance.
In 2024, Caroline founded Art by Buccino while continuing her journey as a music educator. For seven years, she taught elementary music at Barnstable Public Schools and now serves as Arts Department Chair and Music Teacher at Falmouth Academy. Nature, haunting melodies, the love of her family, and the creativity of her students continuously inspire her work.
Many of her pieces bear the names of songs, inviting a multi-sensory experience where the eye and ear meet. She works in mixed media—creating 3D Forever Bouquets with heavy-body acrylics on canvas or wood panel, and collages layered with hand-painted textures and vintage sheet music, finished in glossy resin.
Caroline’s work has been featured in ArtResin’s 2024 newsletter and she was an Artist-in-Residence at the Hyannis Artist Shanties (2025). Her creations can be found at October Gulls, Highfield Hall, Falmouth Art Center and Coffee Obsession.
